Jali wall

Dezeen wrote an article a while back about Indian architecture firm, Cadence, completing a residence that takes advantage of Jali walls, small perforations that allow air and light to pass through.  Personally, I think this is a great way to introduce light and ventilation to an elevated outdoor space that still desires some level of privacy.  They also give an otherwise white box building a focal point.  The perforations in the wall glow when seen at night.  See more pictures at Dezeen.
